I skipped to the end and yes of course he finds his f’ing sword and he doesn’t go bragging to his mates about it. I would recommend Sharpe’s Rifles instead, Bernard Cornwell’s description of the Praza d’Obradoiro was spot on, and Sharpe doesn’t need to say that he knows what to do with his sword, he just gets on with it and uses the thing.
